October 10, 2014

To celebrate the release of Julie Starr’s latest book, The Mentoring Manual, you can download a sample for free.

The Mentoring Manual, Julie’s third publication, tackles the different responsibilities of being a mentor. It gives readers a step-by-step guide to develop better mentoring skills and confidence to support mentees.

To give you the opportunity to try it first, here’s a free sample.

After you’ve read the book, you’ll find our free online mentoring resources handy. They’re in the Online Toolbox section of our website – so just register (or log in), then click on ‘The Mentoring Manual’. Available documents include:

  • Preparation guidance
  • Outline agendas for your first few sessions
  • Reflection notes for use after sessions

The Mentoring Manual was published by Pearson on 18 Sept 2014 and follows Julie’s first two books, The Coaching Manual and Brilliant Coaching, which now inform coaching and development programmes worldwide. All are available via Amazon.

Professor David Clutterbuck, co-founder of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council, has praised The Mentoring Manual as “a clear, pragmatic and accessible guide for mentors”.

Starr Consulting provides mentoring skills training to businesses across the UK and beyond. If you’d like to know more, take a look at our services or get in touch for a chat.
