Julie Starr - Managing Director

Julie is author of The Coaching Manual and Brilliant Coaching, (both by Prentice Hall). Her coaching models and principles influence the development of coaching practice globally; her books are translated into several languages. Julie speaks regularly at conferences and lectures on accredited coaching programmes.

Julie works primarily with executive levels and senior appointments. She relishes supporting people for whom there is a desire to work more deeply, e.g. with personal development. Her coaching engagements centre on personal enquiry and increasing Emotional Intelligence.

Julie combines many years of coaching practice with a continuing study of human success and fulfillment. She is a Master Practitioner of NLP, with extensive training in Emotional Intelligence, Transformational Leadership and linguistics. She is a Practitioner of The Journey Method (an emotional processing approach) and a graduate of Byron Katie’s school for The Work.

From John Whitmore, author of Coaching for Performance:

'I have known Julie for many years, she has been a very expereinced coach for a long time. She has written two excellent books on coaching. She is unusually broad an innovative in her way of thinking about coaching. Julie reaches far beyond the somewhat rigid academic methods of coaching and is one of the few expert coaches that I would seek for myself to provide coaching. She readily takes coaching deeper into personal development which is increasingly necessary in this challenging world of business and in the more complex global issue that face much of humanity now.'

Julie coaches executives in a variety of organisations globally.   Her client experience includes:
